What is most likely coming in the next few days...
The next post is in the works. At this time it will most likely be a festive one. At this time of the year it would seem appropriate to countdown this year's "World's Coolest Christmas songs." This is subject to change of course... and most likely will. Check back soon!

This week's "Coolest Artist in the World" goes to...
...The King Cole Trio!!! The trio consisted of Nat "King" Cole, Oscar Moore (brother of Johnny Moore...as in Johnny Moore's Three Blazers...they did the original version of "Merry Christmas Baby" with Charles Brown...anyway...), and Wesley Prince. Prince was replaced by Johnny Miller in 1943, and he was replaced by Charlie Harris in the 1950's. The King Cole Trio put out a lot of great jazz hits, so much so that the Capitol Records building is known as "the house that Nat built." Enjoy this week's "World's Coolest Artist", The King Cole Trio!

That voice...
Here is a video with the voice of an incredible, amazing, astounding, super awesome DJ! And some pics of various radios, some tuned to the station at which the DJ can occasionally be heard. Enjoy the really cool old Zenith transistor radio. Woo-Hoo!

Nobody uses the word "Nifty" anymore...Just sayin'.
Yet another video. More cool sounds to the visual of some great 45s on classic record labels.
(records playing on a 1956 Magnavox portable turntable...exciting.)
