This week's "Coolest Artist in the World" goes to...

...The King Cole Trio!!! The trio consisted of Nat "King" Cole, Oscar Moore (brother of Johnny Moore...as in Johnny Moore's Three Blazers...they did the original version of "Merry Christmas Baby" with Charles Brown...anyway...), and Wesley Prince. Prince was replaced by Johnny Miller in 1943, and he was replaced by Charlie Harris in the 1950's. The King Cole Trio put out a lot of great jazz hits, so much so that the Capitol Records building is known as "the house that Nat built." Enjoy this week's "World's Coolest Artist", The King Cole Trio!

Music: "Solid Potato Salad" by the King Cole Trio
